Dr. Bethany Brand will discuss several myths about DID, and her experience of consulting with filmmakers about DID.

She will share cutting-edge evidence-based information about the assessment and treatment of DID, and challenge several common myths about DID including the notion that DID is rare, over-diagnosed, and that treating DID makes patients worse.

She will also share feedback from people living with DID about the impact that media portrayals of DID have had on them and their treatment.

Co-taught by Bethany Brand & Ruth Lanius. Five days of trainings are available on demand. This is the most intensive training available about the Finding Solid Ground program.

The training presents cutting edge updates about the neurobiology of trauma, which informs the skills that clients develop when working with the Finding Solid Ground program.

Each training offers Bethany and Ruth engaging in role plays depicting some of the most challenging moments involved when working with individuals who experienced complex trauma.
